CareFlight is an Australian not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing the community with rapid response critical care. Over the past 24 years we have cared for and transported over 20,000 patients.
CareFlight currently provides the Northern Territory with a local helicopter aeromedical service and domestic and international jet aeromedical services. We have been engaged to provide a broader aeromedical service in the Top End of the Northern Territory from 1 July to 31 December 2010.
Expressions of interest are sought from nurses interested in working as aeromedical crew members (nursing) for an initial period of 6½ months, with the possibility of extending or transitioning into the longer term. This is a fantastic opportunity for registered nurses to work as part of an integrated crew model in local fixed wing, helicopter and international retrieval. The role will involve a variety of tasks across operational bases located at Darwin, Katherine and Nhulunbuy/Gove.
