Governance

CareFlight's Board of Directors and employees aim to provide New South Wales with a world class rapid response medical retrieval service while conducting themselves ethically, with integrity and in a professional manner so as to achieve the highest standards of behaviour.

Code of Conduct and Ethics

The people of New South Wales have a right to expect that charitable organisations are fairly and economically conducted with integrity, efficiency, effectiveness and impartiality. The CareFlight Board of Directors has approved a Code of Conduct requiring that employees perform their duties at a professional standard which demonstrates respect of the individual and promotes public confidence and trust in charities.

CareFlight values the contribution from its employees in providing services to the community and seeks to promote an organisational culture which deals with everyone in a manner which reflects the underlying values of fairness, respect and integrity. The Code of Conduct and Ethics aims to ensure that CareFlight employees are aware of their rights and responsibilities and support a work environment which not only enables them to perform their best but makes their work experience fulfilling and enjoyable.

The Code of Conduct and Ethics is set out in full in CareFlight's Policy & Procedures Manual.
