V8 SuperCar Bear
This Bear wears an exact replica of the brand new CareFlight race suit worn by SuperCar driver Colin Seiders, a past patient of NRMA CareFlight, at the Bathurst 1000.
Colin Seiders was involved in a fatal car crash in the Blue Mountains over a decade ago. An NRMA CareFlight Doctor worked with emergency crews for some hours to free him from the wreck of the vehicle, and he was transported to Hospital by the NRMA CareFlight helicopter. Colin has made a remarkable recovery and now races a V8 Supercar in the Fujitsu series.
Over the past decade, Colin has devoted many hundreds of hours to fundraising for NRMA CareFlight so that others may have the same life-saving care he received. Colin’s latest venture sees V8 Supercars Australia (V8SCA) agreeing to the new cross-branded CareFlight bear at no charge to CareFlight. Due to the generosity of V8SCA and the hard work of Colin and the Seiders Racing Team, CareFlight is set to receive much needed funds from the V8 Supercar community.
