Sussex Inlet Choppers for Charity Weekend – 24 to 26 February, 2012
The annual Choppers for Charity tradition continues at Sussex Inlet on the last weekend in February, with the whole community banding together to raise funds for CareFlight. Barefoot lawn bowls, charity golf, a dinner dance, street parade and community festival will all be part of this wonderful event. See www.sussexinletchoppersforcharity.com for full details. Sydney Aviation Model Show – Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 June, 2012
Following the great success of 2011, the Sydney Aviation Model Show will again incorporate a car show. CareFlight has been chosen as the charity to be supported at the show. Come along and see not only classic cars and aviation models, but also real aircraft and much, much more. CareFlight’s helicopter rescue simulator will be attending and CareFlight merchandise will be available for puchase. Woodford to Glenbrook Classic – Sunday 24 June, 2012
This year's CareFlight Woodford to Glenbrook Classic will attract over 1000 entrants to run or ride the Oaks Fire Trail through the beautiful Blue Mountains National Park from the town of Woodford down to the Euroka Clearing near Glenbrook.Covering 25km of undulating bushland, the trail is incredibly scenic and a must for keen mountain bikers and trail runners. more
Franklin Round Australia Cannonball Run
A small group of Franklin car enthusiasts will be raising money for CareFlight as they attempt to be the first people to circumnavigate the Australian continent in an air cooled 1927 Franklin car. more
Walk This Way
Walk This Way founder David Nancarrow plans to walk from Sydney to Brisbane to raise support, awareness and funds for charity. David was critically injured in a motorbike crash six years ago and was airlifted to hospital by CareFlight. He spent months recovering and two years learning to walk again. Crestwood Fair – Sunday 18 September, 2011
CareFlight was delighted to attend the annual Crestwood Fair on Sunday. The CareFlight Simulator was a complete hit with kids and adults alike, as was our mock car rescue staged with the help of the SES, Rural Fire Service, Fire and Rescue and local Police. Photos on www.facebook.com/mycareflight.
CareFlight Music Festival – Saturday 16 July, 2011
The Tahmoor Lions Club CareFlight Music Festival held at the Picton Bowling Club was a great success, raising $1300 for CareFlight. Starring Shanae Pakoti, Greg Windred, Amelia Richards, The Offspring Cover Show and The Incidentials, the music was fantastic. Hawkesbury Blokes Day – Sunday 5 June, 2011
Blokes' Day celebrates the contribution that men and boys make to their community. The Hawkesbury showground became a hive of activity on Blokes' Day with lots of men setting up displays for the event.

Sydney Chinese Lions Charity Ball – Saturday 19 March, 2011
The Sydney Chinese Lions Club celebrated their 16th anniversary with a spectacular charity ball in Darling Harbour. The event, which attracted 450 guests, featured wonderful entertainment, including Latin dancing and a vocal group, and a silent and live auction. CareFlight is the lucky beneficiary of this year's charity ball - thank you to the Sydney Chinese Lions Club and all the sponsors and donors for their generosity.

The last weekend in February saw the annual Sussex Inlet Choppers for Charity held on the beautiful South Coast of NSW. The weekend was wonderfully organised as always and the community turned out to support CareFlight, enjoying barefoot bowls, golf, a dinner dance, street parade and market stalls. more
AFL GWS Giants support CareFlight – Saturday 19 February, 2011
CareFlight was invited to attend the the first games of the new AFL team, the GSW Giants, who hosted the preseason competition of the NAB cup. more
Umina Charity Dinner – Saturday 13 November, 2010
Umina’s Andy Moses put aside the horror of his young son’s accident in bringing the reality of how CareFlight helps treat badly injured children and adults during a major Central Coast fundraising event. Andy, with the assistance of Good News Church and the support of local businesses and community, organised a fundraising dinner to raise funds for CareFlight's medical services. more
Wisemans Ferry Golf Day – Tuesday 9 November, 2010
For 21 years the dedicated community of Wisemans Ferry have been running the 'Police and Citizens Golf Day for CareFlight'. This year’s event attracted over 100 players and raised over $35,000 for our charity. The day started with a beautiful breakfast by the river, followed by nine holes of golf (four man ambrose) and then lunch on course and the spectacular arrival of the CareFlight helicopter and crew. After lunch, the annual auction was held, attracting a few hundred participants from right around the area who congregated at the Bowling Club to grab a bargain.
