The "Amazing August" Venture – Friday 17 to Sunday 19 August, 2012

Join us for an amazing three day 4WD and AWD trip. Travel through the Central Coast and Mid North Coast Hinterlands, drive over Barrington Tops and return home via the Upper Hunter. We will visit “The Grandis”, the tallest tree in NSW; travel through amazing national parks and state forests; cross lots of rivers and creeks and have an amazing time. Accommodation will be at Gloucester and Singleton with dinner, bed and hot breakfast at both motels.

About Venture

If you would like a weekend of fun, laughs and the opportunity to visit some incredible parts of the country, come along and join the Venture family.

CareFlight Venture is the collective name for a number of outdoor activities aimed at bringing friends and families together in a fun-filled environment while supporting CareFlight. Venture activities are mostly motor vehicle related and currently consist of 4WD, Caravan and Motorcycle events.

The 4WD event is not a race or rally and we leave log hopping and boulder climbing to those with a lesser sense of self and car preservation. We do however like to have fun, visit new places and make new friends while enjoying the challenges of the driving. The evening theme nights and dinners offer entertainment and a chance to share good company and good food.

Many city residents purchase a four wheel drive with the intent of one day taking off on an adventure holiday to discover the Australian bush and visit exotic locations. A CareFlight 4WD Venture provides a wonderful opportunity to have this experience, but with the knowledge that there is an experienced support team, including NRMA service crew, travelling with you. The roads used are also suitable for all wheel drive vehicles such as Toyota Kluger, Ford Territory and Holden Captiva. We have even had a BMW X5, Hummer and Lexus R330 travel with us and they all coped extremely well, finishing the trips without a scratch.
