Life can change in an instant – from a car crash, a fall, a drowning or a heart attack.
For the critically ill and injured, time can make the difference between life and death. So when people cannot wait to get to a trauma department, we bring one to them instead.
To provide this service, CareFlight depends on the generosity of the community, including individuals, community groups and business, as well as funding from government sources. Please help us take our patients on the ride of their lives.

Your money is used to:
- promote teaching and pre-hospital medical research;
- train experienced doctors to deliver critical care to patients in a pre-hospital and transport environment;
- treat and/or transport critically ill and injured patients;
- maintain aero-medical teams on rostered duty every day of the year;
- lease/purchase and maintain three helicopters to transport patients.
