annually to staff, equip and operate. While we receive some funding from NSW Health and the Ambulance Service of NSW, we rely on strong community and corporate support to subsidise our services. Last year we received $4.8 million from our community supporters.
Your money is used to:
- train experienced doctors to deliver critical care to patients in a pre-hospital and transport environment;
- maintain aero-medical teams on rostered duty every day of the year;
- lease/purchase and maintain two helicopters to transport patients;
- promote teaching and pre-hospital medical research;
- treat and/or transport critically ill
and injured patients.
