“Maybe once in your life you are lucky enough to be part of something that makes a difference in people's lives. As a doctor this happened to me, when a goup of my associates came together in 1986 to form CareFlight. Our shared vision was to create a better medical service in New South Wales.

Very sick patients often need to be transferred between hospitals, and badly injured patients often need extra medical care at the accident site. We believed that this should only be done by doctors well trained in the specialities of Anaesthetics, Emergency Medicine or Intensive Care.

We stuck to our vision, through thick and thin! Today, I believe NSW has the best medical transport service in Australia, equal to any in the world. Lives have been saved, long-term disability reduced, pain and heartache alleviated. CareFlight has turned our vision into a reality.

The vision must continue to grow and therefore I ask you, as a potential CareFlight Commander, to consider leaving a bequest in your Will. You'll be in the Pilot's seat because your bequest will help keep 'Intensive Care in the Air' to save lives in future generations.”
