“CareFlight helped save Belinda's life. What greater tribute can I make? When Belinda was 12 years old she fell into a coma from toxic shock syndrome, a severe complication of chicken pox. One moment, we just had an unhappy girl with an annoying rash. The next, our baby was fighting for her life.

Belinda began her fight for life in the Campbelltown Hospital Emergency Department, but it was soon apparent that she needed to be at The Children's Hospital, Camperdown. The only way she could get there alive was with CareFlight. When Belinda arrived at The Children's Hospital, we were told that the good news was that she was still alive; the bad news was that she could be not be sicker.

Ten years later, thanks to CareFlight and The Children's Hospital, Belinda is a healthy young adult soon to finsh her university degree and enter the next stage of her life.”
