Trauma team treating unconscious trampoline fall boy

An NRMA CareFlight flying trauma team is treating an eight-year-old boy who has been left unconscious after falling from a trampoline at Chatswood, in Sydney’s north, this morning.

Ambulance officers alerted the team to the boy’s plight shortly before 8.30 am.

The helicopter landed in the grounds of Chatswood High School to allow the trauma doctor to join ambulance paramedics treating the boy.

When stabilisation of the boy is completed, he will be driven in an ambulance to the helicopter then flown under full intensive care monitoring to hospital.
