A man was revived after he collapsed and hit his head at a North Ryde gymnasium today.
Ambulance officers and an NRMA CareFlight trauma team rushed to assist the man just after 5pm.
The NRMA CareFlight helicopter landed in a park opposite the bowling club where the man was working out at a gym.
The NRMA CareFlight doctor said the 60-year-old man also suffered a cardiac arrest and, after he was revived, was taken under his care in a road ambulance to Royal North Shore Hospital where he was in a critical condition on arrival.
