Biker injured at Pymble crash

A motor bike rider suffered serious injuries when he crashed into a road sign at Pymble, in Sydney’s north, this morning.

An NRMA CareFlight trauma team and ambulance paramedics rushed to treat the man at the intersection of Ryde and Yanco Roads just after 7.30 am.

The NRMA CareFlight doctor said the man, believed to be aged in his early 20s, suffered abdominal and pelvic injuries.

After stabilisation at the scene the man was taken, under the care of the NRMA CareFlight doctor, in a road ambulance to Royal North Shore Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
