Three people have been left critically injured as a car hit pedestrians in Penrith early this afternoon.
An NRMA CareFlight trauma team joined ambulance paramedics in treating the injured at the location in High Street Penrith, in Sydney’s west.
Three people suffered critical injuries, including head injuries.
The NRMA CareFlight doctor worked to stabilise one patient before transferring that patient to Nepean Hospital where ambulance paramedics took two other patients.
One child, initially reported to have suffered serious injuries, is now believed to have suffered only minor injuries.
