Boy injured in Badgerys Creek horse fall

A boy suffered a badly fractured arm when his horse shied at a Badgerys Creek property late today.

An NRMA CareFlight trauma team flew to help ambulance officers stabilise the boy.

The NRMA CareFlight doctor said the eight-year-old boy’s fall while riding on a neighbour’s property left him with a compound fractured right arm.

After stabilisation the boy was flown to the Westmead Children’s Hospital for further treatment.
