Toddler's crush injuries from driveway runover (Pennant Hills)

Emergency services have combined to rush treatment to a little girl run over by a car on a driveway at Pennant Hills, in Sydney’s west, this afternoon.

Ambulance paramedics, an NRMA CareFlight trauma doctor and police teamed to treat the girl.

The NRMA CareFlight doctor said the two-year-old girl quickly regained consciousness after the accident which happened on Pennant Hills Road shortly after 4 pm.

The doctor said the girl suffered crush injuries.

The doctor has continued treatment as the girl is being taken, in a road ambulance, to the Westmead Children’s Hospital.
