Woman dead, two injured at car crash (Casula)

A woman has died in a car crash that left two other injured at Casula in Sydney’s south-west today.

Police, Ambulance, Fire Brigade and NRMA CareFlight’s rapid response trauma team rushed to the crash at the intersection of Demeryck Avenue and Hume Highway.

The NRMA CareFlight doctor said that a woman, aged in her mid-60’s was freed from the wreckage by Fire Brigade.

She suffered critical arm and internal injuries and was taken to Liverpool Hospital by the NRMA CareFlight doctor in a road ambulance.

Unfortunately, the woman later died at Liverpool Hospital.

Two other patients suffered lesser injuries and were taken by Ambulance to Liverpool Hospital.
