A woman was left initially unconscious after a fall at a factory at Wetherill Park, in Sydney's south-west, today.
An NRMA CareFlight trauma doctor flew to the factory in Victoria Street to stabilise the woman.
Police met the helicopter when it landed in a paddock 200 metres from the factory just minutes after the "000" alert and drove the doctor to the woman.
The NRMA CareFlight doctor said the 45-year-old woman regained consciousness and was treated for head injuries and bruises sustained when she fell over on the factory floor and hit her head on a steel railing.
The woman was taken in a road ambulance, under continuing treatment by the CareFlight doctor, to Westmead Hospital for neurological examination where she remained in a stable condition on arrival.
