Medical

A patient's survival frequently depends on how rapidly they can receive specialist intensive care treatment: CareFlight's goal is to bring this care to the patient as quickly as possible. As we enter our 22nd year of operation, our medical philosophy remains constant: to provide clinical excellence and leadership in critical care transport.

NRMA CareFlight holds teaching accreditation with the three Critical Care Medical Colleges of Anaesthesia, Emergency Medicine and Intensive Care. In 1990 CareFlight implemented its medical registrar training scheme after becoming the first non-hospital organisation to be granted accreditation.

University affiliation and teaching accreditation make CareFlight a sought-after career path for both senior specialists and registrars.
