NRMA is the longstanding sponsor and name partner of CareFlight, and supports us in our mission to save lives, speed recovery and serve the community.
NRMA and CareFlight formed a partnership in 1990 as part of both organisations' commitment to supporting people injured on our roads. This relationship was built on the foundation of three common objectives:
NRMA has helped CareFlight to grow and together we have formed a multifaceted and integrated partnership which is based on much more than simple financial investment. The introduction of NRMA CareFlight to workplace giving and employee volunteering programs has encouraged staff to actively support our lifesaving work. Volunteering extends across many levels, from the sharing of professional skills to fundraising, attending CareFlight events and selling CareFlight Bears.
NRMA Motoring and Services has supported CareFlight Car Ventures since 1999. They provide valuable roadside assistance for drivers who may have mechanical issues while competing in the Ventures.
NRMA Insurance is funding the Head Injury Retrieval Trial (HIRT) at a cost of $11.2 million over three years. This major trial has international significance, and it is hoped that the initiative will reduce the cost of injury and improve recovery outcomes for people with severe head injuries.
The success of our partnership has been built on both organisations sharing similar values and a commitment to assisting people in times of need.
CareFlight would like to thank NRMA for providing support to us far beyond their contractual commitment and our sponsorship arrangement.
