Throughout the month of July, CareFlight is running two virtual fitness fundraisers, our national CareFlight Challenge and Top End Territory Rescue Challenge to raise funds for our life-saving operations.
Whether you are a professional cyclist living in metropolitan Sydney, amateur roller-skater cruising around Darwin or a family in Tasmania in need of some outdoor time, we have a fun and active fundraiser for you!
ACTIVATE YOUR MISSION IN OUR NATIONAL CAREFLIGHT CHALLENGE!
The CareFlight Challenge is our national fundraising challenge that now has something for everyone! You can also choose to walk, run or ride in the CareFlight Challenge in our new virtual 5km, 25km, or 150km events designed for all levels of fitness.
In line with current restrictions, the Woodford to Glenbrook Classic is now a highly interactive, virtual fitness and fundraising challenge renamed the CareFlight Challenge. The 25km Woodford to Glenbrook Classic can still be completed this year as a cycle event on your own anywhere in Australia with minimal risk to others – even in the safety of your own neighbourhood, on local bike paths.
Every kilometre you travel and dollar you raise is helping to ensure CareFlight can reach more sick and injured Australians across the country!
All you need to do is sign up, choose your CareFlight mission and then ask for your friends, family or colleagues to support your mission and CareFlight.

TAKE ON THE TERRITORY RESCUE CHALLENGE!
Across Australia’s Top End, CareFlight retrieves 17 patients per day. We need YOUR help in our Territory Rescue Challenge to support our lifesaving operations.
Throughout July, join our month-long fitness challenge and walk, run or even skate between 50-1000 kilometres while raising life-saving funds.
The Territory Rescue Challenge follows in the footsteps of our CareFlight Rescue Crews on real-life missions, every kilometre you travel and dollar you raise will unlock another installment of a real-life rescue mission and help CareFlight save more lives across the Top End.
Each day during the month of July, travel as far as you can on foot, bike, rollerskates – anything without a motor! Take on a mission by yourself, or with a group of mates. You will have the chance to:
- Improve your fitness
- Save lives
