Worker falls four metres in Baulkham Hills worksite

A 25-year-old-man has fallen four metres from scaffolding at a Baulkam Hill building site. He sustained injuries to his torso and lower limbs.

CareFlight’s Rapid Response Helicopter was tasked at 12:16PM and landed at Yattenden Oval where NSW Police were waiting to escort CareFlight’s specialist doctor and intensive care paramedic to the scene.

NSW Ambulance paramedics were providing initial treatment. CareFlight’s aeromedical team provided additional treatment and administered pain relief to the man.

The patient was transported to Westmead Hospital by road ambulance with CareFlight’s doctor and paramedic in a stable condition.
