CareFlight is delighted that Johnson & Johnson Medical has become a partner.
A three year arrangement has been finalised, which will see Johnson & Johnson funding 45 CareFlight MediSim training programs. The programs will provide education for up to 900 rescue volunteers across major centres in the Northern Territory.
The sponsorship will bring a valued contribution as, historically, health services are heavily under-resourced in regional and rural areas.
These communities depend on their rescue volunteers to arrive at the scene of an accident quickly. They also rely on them to make critical decisions which will have a major impact on the patient’s recovery. The rescue volunteers’ intervention can literally mean the difference between life and death.
CareFlight is proud to be in partnership with Johnson & Johnson Medical. We look forward to providing more training courses to those rural communities in most need.
