The MediSim project is a groundbreaking CareFlight initiative that brings expert trauma training and education to historically under resourced rural and remote clinicians, and additional knowledge and skills to 'first responder' volunteers at accident scenes.
The initiative is in line with the Federal Government's priority to improve health outcomes and save lives in rural and remote communities in Australia.
Thanks to donations from individuals and businesses, the program is accessible at no or low cost to those who may not have the time or funds to travel to educations centres in capital cities to receive further training.
