On Sunday 12 July, after 5:00pm the Mounties Care CareFlight Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance after a woman in her 40s became trapped under a vehicle.

CareFlight landed nearby at the Forestville War Memorial Playing Fields and were transported by NSW Police to the scene. CareFlight’s specialist doctor and NSW Ambulance paramedics worked alongside Fire and Rescue NSW as they released the patient, treating her for injuries to her to legs and pelvis.

Once freed, the patient was taken by road in an ambulance, accompanied by CareFlight’s specialist doctor to Royal North Shore Hospital in a stable condition.
