A 33-year-old man suffered multiple injuries after colliding with trees when his motorcycle left the road north west of Gosford late this morning.
CareFlight’s rapid response helicopter was called to Somersby shortly after 11am, landing at the scene on the Old Pacific Highway.
CareFlight’s specialist emergency doctor and intensive care paramedic provided treatment for the man who sustained injuries to his head, chest, pelvis and legs.
The patient was then transferred to the helicopter and flown to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.
