About 11:30am, Thursday 4 January, the Mounties Care CareFlight Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance to an accident involving two motorcycles on Wisemans Ferry Road, Greengrove, on the NSW Central Coast.
CareFlight’s specialist doctor and NSW Ambulance paramedics assessed both motorcyclists. A man in his 70s was treated for spinal injuries. The other rider, a man in his 50s, was treated for a wrist injury.
The man in his 50s was taken by NSW Ambulance paramedics via road to Gosford Hospital in a stable condition. The other man was airlifted to Royal North Shore Hospital in a stable condition.
