On Sunday, 2 February shortly after 8am the Mounties Care CareFlight Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance after a male aged in his teens was injured falling from a skateboard while riding down a hill in Kariong.
CareFlight’s specialist doctor and NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the patient at the scene for serious head injuries.
The patient was flown to Royal North Shore Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
