A 6-week-old baby has been airlifted to hospital after he suffered a medical episode earlier this evening on the Central Coast.
CareFlight’s rapid response helicopter was tasked just before 6pm to Fountaindale where it landed in the front yard of a residential property.
At the scene, CareFlight’s specialist doctor and critical care paramedic assisted Ambulance paramedics who were providing initial treatment to the infant.
CareFlight’s medical team continued careful observation as they airlifted the infant to the Sydney Children’s Hospital in Randwick in a stable condition.
Police were also at the scene.
