A three-year-old boy has been airlifted by CareFlight to hospital after nearly drowning in a pool at an aquatic centre in Woy Woy this afternoon.
CareFlight’s rapid response helicopter was called to the scene shortly before 1pm following reports a child was unconscious after being pulled from the water.
CPR was performed on the toddler until NSW Ambulance and CareFlight arrived on scene.
The young boy was airlifted by CareFlight to Westmead Children’s Hospital in a stable condition.
