On Sunday 24 November shortly after 10am the Mounties Care CareFlight Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance to a near drowning of a toddler in a swimming pool in Whalan.
CareFlight’s specialist doctor and NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the patient at the scene. The patient was then transported in a NSW Ambulance road ambulance, accompanied by CareFlight’s specialist doctor to The Children’s Hospital at Westmead in a stable condition.
