On Sunday, 29 November, shortly after 11:30am, the Mounties Care CareFlight Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance to Dee Why Beach after a man in his 40’s was pulled from the beach in a near drowning incident.
CareFlight’s specialist doctor and NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the man on scene before transporting him via road to Royal North Shore Hospital in a critical condition.
