A driver has been transported to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition, without serious injuries after his utility was involved in a three vehicle crash earlier today.
The 34-year-old man was driving on Mamre Road St Clair, when he was involved in a crash involving the truck behind him and the car in front of him.
Fire and Rescue teams released the man, was trapped in the seat of his vehicle from the impact of the crash.
CareFlight’s rapid response helicopter was tasked at 11.10am, landing on the road close to the crash scene where they assisted Ambulance paramedics already at the scene.
The man sustained head and body lacerations and other minor injuries and after initial treatment, was transported to Westmead Hospital in a road ambulance in a stable condition.
The driver of the truck, and the driver of the other car involved in the crash were not injured.
