A 25-year-old woman has been flown to hospital in a stable condition after falling from a horse at a bush property in Gunderman, in the Central Coast region.
The woman was reportedly riding the horse when it turned suddenly, throwing her to the ground.
CareFlight’s rapid response helicopter was tasked at 8.37am, landing at the property to help the woman by 9am.
The woman had been initially cared for by her peers and was conscious but suffering memory loss.
CareFlight’s specialist doctor and critical care paramedic assessed and treated the woman at the scene.
The woman was airlifted to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.
