A 54-year-old woman has sustained multiple injuries when the motorcycle she was riding collided with a car on Bay Road Berrilee, south of Berowra Waters this morning.
CareFlight’s Rapid Response Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance at 10.17am and landed in a neighbouring property minutes later. The aeromedical team were conveyed to the scene by NSW Police.
CareFlight’s specialist doctor and NSW Ambulance critical care paramedic performed a clinical assessment on the woman who’d initially lost consciousness and sustained multiple limb fractures and abdominal injuries from the crash.
The woman was given pain relief and flown under the clinical supervision of doctor and paramedic to Westmead Hos[ital. She is in a stable condition.
