A 67-year-old man who was run over by a bobcat in Blacktown this morning has been taken to hospital in stable condition.
The man’s leg was run over by the machine during excavation work at a residential property.
CareFlight’s rapid response rescue helicopter was tasked to help shortly before 9.30am, landing in a carpark directly behind the residence.
At the scene, CareFlight’s medical team assisted Ambulance paramedics who were providing initial treatment for serious injuries to the leg.
CareFlight’s specialist doctor and critical care paramedic continued treatment in a road ambulance.
The man was taken by road to hospital in a stable condition.
