A five-year-old girl remains in a stable condition after she was caught between two cars in north-west Sydney this afternoon.
The girl was reportedly trapped between the two vehicles for three minutes.
CareFlight’s rapid response rescue helicopter was called to Eastwood shortly before 1pm. It landed in Eastwood Park, opposite the accident scene.
CareFlight’s specialist doctor and intensive care paramedic were rushed to the patient, assessing her for possible pelvic injuries.
The girl was taken by NSW Ambulance to Westmead Children’s Hospital, for further tests. The CareFlight medical crew escorted the accompanied the patient in the road ambulance.
