A 47-year-old man has been airlifted from the Central Coast after falling several metres from a tree early this afternoon.
CareFlight’s rapid response rescue helicopter was called to Palm Grove at around 12.40pm, landing shortly after on a property at the site of the fall.
NSW Ambulance paramedics were also on scene providing assistance to the man, who reportedly fell 10 metres while working in the tree.
CareFlight’s specialist doctor and intensive care paramedic assessed the man at the scene, providing care for suspected internal injuries.
The man was transferred to the helicopter and flown to Royal North Shore Hospital in a stable condition.
