A 47-year-old man was flown to hospital from the Central Coast after falling from a ladder late this afternoon.

The man suffered severe pelvic injuries when he reportedly fell five metres to the ground.

CareFlight’s rapid response rescue helicopter was called to Kincumber at around 4pm, landing on an oval around 500 metres from the accident location.

Police rushed CareFlight’s specialist doctor and intensive care paramedic to the patient, where they provided treatment.

The CareFlight crew and NSW Ambulance paramedics transferred the man to the helicopter. He was airlifted to Royal North Shore Hospital in a stable condition.
