A 60-year-old man suffered serious pelvic and chest injuries in a motor vehicle accident in the upper Hawkesbury early this evening.
CareFlight’s rapid response helicopter was called to Colo Heights shortly before 7pm, landing at the local public school near the accident scene on the Punt Road.
CareFlight’s specialist medical team treated the man at the scene before he was transferred to the helicopter with the help of emergency service personnel.
CareFlight then flew the man, who remained in a serious condition, to Westmead Hospital.
