A 40-year-old man has been flown to hospital in a stable condition after he was injured under a truck in a suburb of the Central Coast this afternoon.
The man was crushed between the tray of a truck and the towbar of a parked four-wheel-drive vehicle.
CareFlight’s rapid response rescue helicopter was tasked to Wadalba shortly after 12pm, landing in a vacant block of land in new housing estate.
The critical care team quickly walked a few doors down to the scene to assist NSW Ambulance paramedics who were providing initial treatment.
CareFlight’s specialist doctor and critical care paramedic provided further treatment at the scene.
The man was flown to Royal North Shore Hospital in a stable condition.
