A 50-year-old man has sustained abdomen, chest and pelvis injuries after he fell three metres from his roof.
The man was reportedly inspecting his sprinkler system at his residence in Kurrajong.
CareFlight’s Rapid Response Helicopter was tasked shortly before 10AM and landed in a nearby Kurrajong property. NSW Ambulance provided initial treatment to the man at the scene of the incident and transported him to CareFlight’s aeromedical crew.
CareFlight’s specialist doctor and critical care paramedic provided additional treatment to the patient to stabilise him.
The patient was flown to Westmead Hospital by CareFlight under the ongoing treatment of the medical team.
