A 45-year-old male has been transported to hospital after falling through a roof this morning at Pennant Hills.
It is understood the male was in the process of replacing the roof’s skylight sheeting when he fell about 3 metres onto the deck below.
CareFlight’s rapid response helicopter was tasked just before 8.30am to the residential property, landing a short time later on a field at Mount St Benedict College.
Initially unconscious, ambulance crews assessed and treated the patient who suffered head and limb injuries.
Conveyed to the scene by police, CareFlight’s specialist doctor and critical care paramedic assessed the patient and continued observation as he was transported via road ambulance to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.
