A 65-year-old man working a circular saw in his private Woodford residence has suffered lacerations to his arm and legs.

He went into shock from the incident.

CareFlight’s Rapid Response Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance at 5.15pm from the Westmead hangar and landed in Bulls Camp Reserve, Woodford, where NSW Ambulance paramedics were transporting the patient to meet CareFlight’s clinical team.

CareFlight’s specialist doctor and NSW Ambulance critical care paramedic performed a clinical assessment on the man and prepared him for flight transfer to hospital.

CareFlight’s clinical team continued providing care as the man was airlifted in a stable condition to Westmead Hospital.
