A man in his 40s suffered multiple fractures and a chest injury after he fell from a tree in Berrima at 11am.

It’s understood the man was cutting a branch off the tree when he fell about five metres.

CareFlight’s rapid response helicopter landed in a park opposite Bowral Hospital.

NSW Ambulance brought the patient from the scene to the CareFlight helicopter and the medical team treated him before airlifting him in a stable condition to Liverpool Hospital.
