A 24-year-old man has been transported to Royal North Shore Hospital in a stable condition after he was involved in a workplace incident in Pymble this morning.
It’s understood the man fell while working on a construction site when a piece of steel went through his leg.
CareFlight’s rapid response helicopter landed at a school in Pymble about 300 metres from the construction site at about 9.10am.
The man was transported by road by NSW Ambulance to Royal North Shore Hospital in a stable condition.
It’s the second workplace injury in as many days for CareFlight’s rapid response team after three men were injured when a crane collapsed in North Sydney yesterday morning.
