A 37-year-old man has been taken to hospital in a stable condition after being found injured on a residential building site in Sydney’s inner west.
The man was discovered on the ground, initially unconscious. There were no witnesses but it was believed he had fallen from scaffolding about four metres above.
CareFlight’s rapid response rescue helicopter was tasked to Concord shortly after 1pm, landing in Edwards Park.
Police quickly conveyed CareFlight’s medical crew a short distance to the patient. NSW Ambulance were also on scene.
CareFlight’s specialist doctor and intensive care paramedic treated the man at the scene for head and chest injuries.
The patient was loaded into a road ambulance with CareFlight’s medical team and transported to Westmead Hospital.
