A man in his 70s has seriously injured his hand after it became trapped in machinery at a premises in Tuggerah this afternoon.
It’s understand the man was working with machinery when his hand was crushed, seriously damaging his fingers and thumb.
CareFlight’s rapid response helicopter landed on Johnson Road shortly after 12.15pm.
NSW Ambulance and CareFlight’s medical crew treated the man at the scene before airlifting him to Royal North Shore Hospital in a stable condition.
