On Monday, 20 January 2025, shortly before 5pm, the Mounties CareFlight Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance to Hovells Creek, near Cowra, where a man in his 30s sustained a leg injury on a sheep farm.
CareFlight’s specialist doctor and NSW Ambulance paramedics assessed and treated the man at the scene.
The patient was airlifted to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition.
