A motorcyclist in his 50s is in a critical condition with a head injury after he came off his motorbike near Terrigal earlier today.
CareFlight’s s rapid response rescue helicopter with specialist doctor and critical care paramedic, were tasked just after 4pm and flew to Terrigal, landing at nearby Terrigal Haven.
NSW Ambulance paramedics were first on the scene and they provided initial care to the man, before taking him to meet the CareFlight medical team, where he was intubated and stabilised.
CareFlight’s medical crew continued treatment as they transported the man by helicopter to Royal North Shore Hospital in a critical but stable condition.
