A 48-year-old pedestrian has been transported to hospital in a stable condition after a car collided with two parked vehicles.

She was trapped under the vehicles and sustained potential spinal injuries.

CareFlight’s Rapid Response Helicopter was tasked at 11:59am and landed in Guildford Park 12 minutes later where NSW Police escorted the aeromedical team to the scene of the incident.

Fire and Rescue emergency personnel worked to extricate the woman and paramedics provided initial treatment. CareFlight’s clinical team assessed the woman once she was released, performed an ultrasound onsite and took precautions to stabilise her for suspected spinal injuries.

She was then transported by road ambulance in a stable condition to Westmead Hospital under the ongoing care of CareFlight’s aeromedical crew.
