A 48-year-old woman has been taken to Westmead Hospital in a stable condition after she was hit by a car in Emerton at about 3pm this afternoon.
CareFlight’s rapid response helicopter landed at Popondetta Park about 100 metres from the scene.
The woman suffered a head injury and was treated on scene by CareFlight’s medical team and NSW Ambulance paramedics.
She was transported to hospital by road by NSW Ambulance with CareFlight’s medical crew on board.
